Daddy Cheers Me Up On My 18th Birthday

so I put all this work into my 18th birthday... I baked a cute little cake and decorated it-omg it was so cute. I set up all the decorations, blew all the balloons and set everything up perfectly. I was so excited to invite everyone and have such a good time but nobody showed up... only my step dad was there-how embarrassing ?? He tried everything he could to cheer me up... but nothing would work. He gets a cute little idea to try cheer me up the way he cheers my mom up, and I'm honestly so desperate to feel better I'm willing to do anything- after all, im an adult now.
